Individual Therapy
We offer individual tele-therapy for children, adolescents and adults.
Treatment approaches that we use include both therapy and medication, and is decided based on the needs of the patient.
Individual therapy goes by several names: therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, cognitive therapy or talk therapy. No matter what, it’s you and your therapist in a safe, one-on-one enviroment.
Individual therapy lets you and your therapist focus on each other, building a rapport so you can work together to solve issues.
Let’s be straight, you’re not broken, or crazy. There is nothing inherently wrong with you. It’s just that life can be hard.
Things change, trauma happens. And you may need support.
Individual therapy is counseling focused on your immediate or near future concerns. It could deal with problems at your job, or peer pressure and esteem. It could be physical or mental trauma, grief at a loss or dealing with another problem before it becomes overwhelming. It could be depression or anxiety.
Counseling will help you to change how you think and feel about problems you may be having, and help you create paths to being happier and less stressed.

Group Therapy
We offer group tele-therapy for adults.
Treatment approaches that we use include both therapy and medication, and is decided based on the needs of the patients, so it can take several approaches.
Our group therapy is Christian-based. Stable Steps offers faith based group approaches to help you work through the things you need help with.
Group therapy is run by your psychiatric provider. The group will consist of roughly five to 15 patients. Groups meet for an hour each week.
Let’s be straight, you’re not broken, or crazy. There is nothing inherently wrong with you. It’s just that life can be hard.
Joining a group of strangers may seem intimidating, but group therapy provides benefits you may not get in individual therapy. Psychologists say that group members are nearly always surprised at how rewarding the group experience can be.
Groups can act as a support network and a sounding board. Other members of the group can help you find ways to improve a difficult situation or life challenge, or offer a different perspective, and they can help you stay accountable on the way.
You may feel alone, but others are also having difficulties. It can be a relief to hear others discuss what they are going through, and realize that you are not alone.
Group therapy will not just give the support of your faith based group, it will provide you with strategies for managing specific problems.
Stable Steps offers several groups that can help.
