How We Help

Stress & Anxiety

Stress and anxiety can be debilitating, and keep us from living our best lives. And we don’t always know how to get out of the cycle.

We will use solution focused therapy to help you break this cycle and learn to manage the stress and anxiety.

Substance Abuse

You *can* regain control of your life when you are dealing with substance abuse.

We will work with you to safely find your way back from substance abuse so you can once again live free of the addiction.

We use a combination of medication, individual and/or group therapies, counseling and lifestyle and behavioral modification, working with you, to craft a plan for success.

Self Esteem

Self-esteem draws on beliefs about oneself. People with low self-esteem are likely to have a low opinion of themselves. They may compare themselves to others, then judge themselves inferior.

We will work with you using a holistic approach to explore these feelings and craft a way to learn to develop a healthy relationship with yourself.

Child Behavior Issues

Our therapy for children and adolescents focuses primarily on how some problematic thoughts or negative behaviors can unintentionally get “rewarded” within a young person’s environment.

We use a multi-dimensional approach to work with children, adolescents and teens and their parents to craft a positive approach and environment for the young person.

Past Traumas

The pain from past trauma can be debilitating, keeping you mired in fear and pain. Trauma can be tough to navigate through—especially on your own.

The good news is that it’s entirely possible to heal and get past your trauma.Seeking out trauma therapy can help accelerate the process, lead to improved outcomes, and a clearer understanding of how to move forward with your life.

Depression

Depression is caused by a number of factors, including ways of responding to stress and reacting to negative experiences and thoughts.

Therapy helps you to re-establish sources of pleasure in life and helps you regain a sense of control. It helps you develop effective coping strategies, important not only in relieving a current episode of depression but in preventing future ones.

We will work with you to find the best strategy, therapy and/or medication to help you recover from depression.

Isolation & Loneliness

Loneliness involves a deep sense of isolation and disconnection from others, when people feel that they have no one with whom to share the joys and obstacles of life.

An isolated person may experience loneliness or low self-esteem. Over time, a person may develop social anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns.

We will work with you to explore these feelings and find a path to enjoying life again.

Coping and Living Skills

Attempting to overcome a mental illness requires you to manage daily stress and situations more effectively. It involves finding healthy ways to navigate through problems instead of giving in to them. We’ll help you to develop a healthier life overall in order to support growth and a more positive outlook.

Coping skills are daily strategies that we all use to manage both positive and negative  situations. However, many people dealing with mental health don’t know how to properly deal with these events, particularly if the events are negative.
